Employment litigation attorneys Michael Zarocostas and Omid Nosrati announced today that they have filed an employment discrimination lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against The Walt Disney Company, ABC Signature Studios, Inc., and Riverside Television Services, LLC, on behalf of Plaintiff Joel Hopkins, who is employed as a VP and department head of production finance.
Mr. Hopkins alleges that, after it was revealed to his superiors that he is gay and after adverse reactions to this information, he has been passed over repeatedly for promotions for 20 years and has been paid less than other executives who are department heads employed by Defendants.
