Nosrati Law’s Omid Nosrati Shares Insights on Law School Admissions

Omid Nosrati is the Managing Partner at Nosrati Law, APLC. He graduated with a JD from Loyola Law School in 2001 and specializes in employment law. He recently spoke about his journey to becoming a Managing Partner at Nosrati Law in an interview with Juris Education.

Nosrati was motivated to become a lawyer because he, “felt it was an important profession in our society and he wanted to be a part of something that he believed was impactful. ”

As Nosrati recalled his journey as a law student, he, “worked at a law office as a document clerk for about 3 years and helped with many clerical assignments. I got to know the attorneys, and the paralegals, went to court, and saw how the day-to-day would look like as a practicing attorney.” Students looking for suitable work experience for law school should take note of this.

Since AI is making splashes in many industries, Nosrati also talked about AI’s role in law. He thinks that “it can make it easier for students, but taking shortcuts through the use of AI can hinder a student’s own development”
